Board of Commissioners
Whereas, Throughout the past 25 years, many volunteers have participated in Gainesville Aid Project with donations of their time, energy and resources to assist the elderly and disabled in Hall County; and
Whereas, Adult volunteers and more than 1,500 young people form Antioch United Methodist and other local churches and organizations throughout our community have worked together to provide wheelchair ramps, landscaping, home improvement and home modification services to more than 400 senior and disabled residents; and
Whereas, This wonderful non-profit organization has operated entirely through donations and voluntary labor, without paid staff or overhead of any kind, thereby ensuring that all contributions directly benefit those in our community least able to help themselves,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Hall County Board of Commissioners does hereby commend, on the occasion of its 25 anniversary, the many volunteers and contributors to
